The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift. The Nurse supervises the Mental Health Techs working on the unit, administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups.
The ECT nurse is responsible for all safety and patient activities before during and after an ECT treatment. The nurse is expected to follow all safety practices, infection control, ECT and hospital policies and procedures.
