Serves as a project lead and/or project manager for the implementation and continued expansion of efforts to aggregate data from source systems, and implement analytics solutions to report on ACO, population health and bundled payments performance. The position will report to the Vice President, Population Health. This position will manage the work and provide training and support to the Population Health Analysts. The Manager of Population Health Analytics will work collaboratively with Quality, Operations, IT, Network Development, Managed Care, Decision Support, Physicians, and with the vendors employed by the Stormont Vail for population health IT and analytics. In addition, this role will focus on developing robust reporting capabilities for real-time reporting on ACO, population health, and bundled payments focusing on cost, utilization and quality measures. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as the internal knowledge source and subject matter expert on population health analytics and strategic data analysis that leads to the identification of new opportunities for SVHC. Responsibilities also include management of special projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, IT, or similar field required, Masters preferred.
Three to five years healthcare analytics or IT experience required.
Strong background in data aggregation, clinical data warehouse design, and interface standards in healthcare.
Knowledge of the clinical aspects of care transitions workflow.
Knowledge of clinical quality reporting.
Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
Experience in project management including the ability to define objectives, identify stakeholders, plan and coordinate to accomplish goals and objectives in a resourceful and timely manner.
Superior leadership qualities (motivation, coaching, teaching, decision making).
