As the Safety Manager-Workers Compensation, you will be responsible for the day to day design, implementation, and monitoring of UHS corporate loss prevention initiatives to reduce staff injury and workers compensation expenses for assigned facilities.
- Conduct assessments to identify hazards, evaluate and recommend solutions to prevent future injury.
- Design employee awareness/training programs.
- Monitor management of claim management vendors to ensure claim expenses are mitigated.
- Overall responsibility for up to $2M loss budget, 15 facilities and 3,000 employees.
