What You’ll Do: Travel to communities in response to property or physical plant emergencies when requested by a Vice President of Operations with the approval of the Director of Building & Facility Maintenance. Perform scheduled community site visits, property inspections, and systems audits. Perform internal audits of community preventative maintenance records using the TELS system. Prepare written Property Condition reports and provides supporting documentation and photographs. Provide training to new community Maintenance Directors on Merrill Gardens policies and procedures. Provide expertise, analysis, and recommendations to community General Managers and Maintenance Directors on the management of the physical plant activities including alterations, maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning of property as specified. Interview vendors and contractors and reviews written bids for services and special projects.
What You Bring: 5-7 years of experience in both property development and preventative maintenance. 5+ years of management/supervisory experience Strong communication and customer service skills Must be familiar with Word, Excel, project management and database software College degree in business or related field preferred Senior Living, Multi-Family, or Hospitality experience
