Full-time, salaried, contractual, Clinical Research Coordinator position available for applicants with current Nursing degree/licensure or Bachelor's degree in science or healthcare interested in working among a team of dedicated research professionals engaged in the conduct of clinical research. Previous experience and ACRP or SOCRA certification is required.
Job Description includes, but is not limited to:
Work among a team of dedicated research professionals, including the physician investigator(s), engaged in the conduct of human subject clinical trials.
Facilitate, coordinate, and conduct clinical trial activities in accordance with the trial protocol and good clinical practice.
Ensure the safety and protection of research subjects including, but not limited to, involvement in the informed consent process as well as the assessment, documentation, and reporting of adverse events
Serve as a liaison between the subject and providers involved in the ongoing, routine care of the patient
Assist in subject screening and recruitment efforts
Collect accurate and verifiable data
Oversee investigational product compliance
Communicate with the sponsor and regulatory authorities (including audits & inspections) and attend meetings pertinent to the conduct of the trial.
Work closely with the Physician Investigator and other members of the research team to ensure trial success.
Position requires extremely organized, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, dependable team player willing to learn in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Able to complete high quality patient care including blood draws, vital signs, ECGs, lab sample processing, and Pulmonary Function Testing. We are seeking an individual who must be able to work well independently and with supervision.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based upon credentials and experience. Contractual residual payments are added to base salary
