Spectrum Medical Group is looking for a seasoned clinical operations professional to join its Central Orthopaedics Division, Central Maine Orthopaedics. Reporting to the Executive Director of Clinical Services, the Divisional Operating Officer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and management of the day-to-day operations of the Division. The qualified candidate will assist our physicians and Executive Director in strategic planning, practice governance, business development activities, budget and revenue management and policy enforcement. Through the management of an operational leadership team, this role provides administrative oversight and business management support for all aspects of the clinic, ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy/occupational therapy, imaging and revenue cycle. Also charged with creating and promoting a culture that reflects the Company’s values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity. This position works closely with corporate resources to manage marketing, financial, facility, information systems, human resource, risk management, quality and compliance functions for the Division. 8-10 years of clinical based, physician practice, or other healthcare setting administrative/operational experience.
Minimum of Bachelors in healthcare administration, related field, or related experience; Master’s degree preferred
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and computer skills associated with financial modeling and budgeting.
Ability to work and interface with both administrative and clinical professionals and support staff.
